The Blogaton Season 2 begins: Blogaton 18

Change is imperative for a well-functioning of the system. Change happens and it happens faster than an eye can blink. If you are not part of the road-roller of change, you are part of the road. And so we have began the road-roller of Blogaton Season 2. After 17 successful blogaton, The Marshal Vipul has taken the run as being Marshal and have handed over the charge of Blogaton to veteran bloggers (Did you participate in more than 10 Blogaton? Drop a mail to Marshal fast before the bar increases)  with me beginning for the Month of March.

Obviously as the tradition goes, we need a topic for Blogaton and by jolly we need a big topic, a great topic to start the run. So, turn those brainy wheels of yours and come up with a great topic to write about coming March. Not so fast, there are rules to be followed...

Please go through the following rules before suggesting or voting
  • Each member can suggest only one topic.
  • The topic should be general in scope, so that more and more Blog-a-Tonics can participate.
  • If you like any suggestion, VOTE for it rather than giving a new suggestion.
  • If you like a suggested topic but don't like the wordings, still VOTE for it and alongside suggest a new title for it.
  • In case you have already suggested a topic but find some subsequent suggestion better than yours, you are allowed to vote for it. But this can be done only once.
  • Rather than criticising the suggestions made by others, kindly give better suggestions.
  • Give your suggestions and votes in the comments section of this post.
  • Do not embolden your comment using HTML bold tag.
  • Please keep these points in mind to make my job easier.
P.S. I retain the right to discard any suggestion in case I find it similar to some previous Topic of the Month or too narrow in scope.

Blogaton is an event for the bloggers, by the bloggers. The more bloggers run, the more fun it gets to race, so make sure you share this post, your thoughts on Social Networks, please use #Blogaton on twitter and it will be picked up by the auto-stream on the sidebar.

So bring on those thinking caps and lets find a topic for Blogaton 18, lets roll....

Blog-a-Ton Season 2 - The Veterans' Cut

Here I am - this is me
There's no where else on earth I'd rather be
Here I am - it's just me and you
And tonight we make our dreams come true

It's a new world - it's a new start
It's alive with the beating of young hearts
It's a new day - it's a new plan
I've been waiting for you
Here I am

Here we are - we've just begun
And after all this time - our time has come
Ya here we are - still goin' strong
Right here in the place where we belong

Here I am - next to you
And suddenly the world is all brand new
Here I am - where I'm gonna stay
Now there's nothin standin in our way

With those beautiful lines from Bryan Adams, I welcome you all back to Blog-a-Ton. I hope you all missed this event. However, more importantly, I hope you all got an opportunity to recharge your blogging batteries. For all those who have joined us during this hiatus, a very warm-hearted welcome to this community.

Well as you must have noticed in the title of this post, there is something new that is waiting for you in the Season 2 of Blog-a-Ton. Yes, its a time for change of guard and style. So, in order to give Blog-a-Ton a makeover, I have invited all the veterans to marshal this event.

Each month, a new veteran will conduct Blog-a-Ton and will have the freedom to tweak the format and rules within  permissible limits. We are aiming to have the first in the series in March itself with Siddhesh Kabe at the lead.

However, before we initiate it, please give your suggestions to help the Veterans frame the new format.

The Marshal and the Veterans are eagerly waiting for your suggestions.

Blog-a-Tonically Yours
