On the basis of the voting over last week, we have narrowed down the topic for BAT 29.

 Topic for Blog-a-Ton 29 :
TWO MINUTES

A tie in voting.. between two topics.. and the Marshal's vote decides it. I don't think we've had that before in Blog-a-ton, have we? Not sure. Anyways, by the Marshal's vote, the topic for July is as above, and it was suggested by Jayashree of the blog JaishWrites. Thank you.

SOME RULES

1. You can submit ONLY ONE POST for this event irrespective of the number of blogs you maintain.
2. You must title the post as TWO MINUTES, no other title will be accepted.
3. You must justify this theme with a complementary post. To make things easier, you have the freedom to treat it the way you want. Its upto you; which genre of writing you choose, i.e. simple essay-type, article, dialogue, short story (even 55 Fiction for that matter), poem or whatever you feel like.
4. Moreover, its up to you; which mood or tone you choose to set it in, i.e. serious, witty, humor, optimistic or whatever that comes to you naturally.
5. If you are having a cartoon blog, photo blog, painting blog etc, even you can participate with your piece of art complementing this theme.
6. You have the freedom to choose the language of communication. However, we'll suggest you to write in English to put across your views to the maximum members which will also help you when its the time to vote for the BATOM.
7. Other rules regarding the posting will be conveyed to you later. So kindly wait for that notification on the coming Saturday (JUNE 30) rather than putting up queries right now. If the queries are regarding general pattern of the event, please go through the posts about previous events.

So, you all have ample time to write it, but you'll have to wait till July 1st to post it finally on your blog along with everyone else.

The Blank Pages of Blog-a-Ton 28 Results Are Now Filled!

This Blog-a-Ton edition was exciting, and fun and a reflection of that was the count of entrants going to nearly 40 this time. I thank every one of the 39 entrants who took part and made this edition a success. Of the 39, 22 of you returned to cast your votes too, and even then, we had a tie for bronze between two stories, and that meant I had to step-in with the tiebreaker vote. At one point of the voting, there was a 5 way tie for Gold too. In the end, this is how the voting has turned out.
