Time to crown the FIRST and the first BATOM for the SECOND season of BLOGATON

Its that time of the month when we choose the Blogatonic of the Month or the BATOM, this will be the first of many Blogatons coming ahead. This time we got a good response from some new blogatonics plus obviously the old runners were there.

Thank you for participating in the run and again thank you for voting honestly about the blog you write. Lets get started with the votes. The votes and comments on them can be seen on previous post,

There is some specific logic behind the above code. So please fill the parameters highlighted in red as mentioned in the code only.

Topic for Blog-a-Ton 17 : Change

The topic clearly won the majority of votes and was suggested by no other Neha, the awesome lawyer of blogistan. Change is quite a broad topic and the universal fact, so get your head racing to run for a change. ONLY POST ON MARCH 05, 2011 BETWEEN 00:00 TO 11:59 ARE ELIGIBLE FOR BLOGATON. No reposts allowed.

Since, change is a versatile topic, if you have already written on change, its time to change the line of thought and think something else to change.

SOME RULES

1. You can submit ONLY ONE POST for this event irrespective of the number of blogs you maintain.
2. The title of your post should be Change.
3. You must justify this title with a complementary post. To make things easier, you have the freedom to treat it the way you want. Its upto you; which genre of writing you choose, i.e. simple essay-type, article, dialogue, short story (even 55 Fiction for that matter), poem or whatever you feel like.
4. Moreover, its upto you; which mood or tone you choose to set it in, i.e. serious, witty, humour, optimistic or whatever that comes to you naturally.
5. If you are having a cartoon blog, photo blog, painting blog etc, even you can participate with your piece of art complementing this title.
6. You have the freedom to choose the language of communication. However, we'll suggest you to write in English to put across your views to the maximum members which will also help you when its the time to vote for the BATOM.
7. Other rules regarding the posting will be conveyed to you later. So kindly wait for that notification on Friday rather than putting up queries right now. If the queries are regarding general pattern of the event, please go through the posts about previous events.

The Blogaton Season 2 begins: Blogaton 18

Change is imperative for a well-functioning of the system. Change happens and it happens faster than an eye can blink. If you are not part of the road-roller of change, you are part of the road. And so we have began the road-roller of Blogaton Season 2. After 17 successful blogaton, The Marshal Vipul has taken the run as being Marshal and have handed over the charge of Blogaton to veteran bloggers (Did you participate in more than 10 Blogaton? Drop a mail to Marshal fast before the bar increases)  with me beginning for the Month of March.

Obviously as the tradition goes, we need a topic for Blogaton and by jolly we need a big topic, a great topic to start the run. So, turn those brainy wheels of yours and come up with a great topic to write about coming March. Not so fast, there are rules to be followed...

Please go through the following rules before suggesting or voting

• Each member can suggest only one topic.
• The topic should be general in scope, so that more and more Blog-a-Tonics can participate.
• If you like any suggestion, VOTE for it rather than giving a new suggestion.
• If you like a suggested topic but don't like the wordings, still VOTE for it and alongside suggest a new title for it.
• In case you have already suggested a topic but find some subsequent suggestion better than yours, you are allowed to vote for it. But this can be done only once.
