Please follow the following rules while voting:
1. You must cast only 1 vote and of course you can not vote for yourself.
Don't vote for more than one person because that will be of no use for any of them as your vote will be discarded without any prior warning.
2. DO NOT VOTE for those posts which are not carrying the IMAGE. So in case, any participant forgot to add the image to his/her post, please do that asap.
3. Some late entries have been allowed because either they had intimated me in advance or they are participating for the first time. However, I again request everyone to be on time in future.

3. Your Voting Comment should start as follows:
In case you participated -
I vote for - XYZ; his/her post = 3 IDIOTS
Code:
<b>I participated - <a href="YOUR POST LINK">YOUR POST LINK</a></b>
<b>I vote for - NAME OF THE BLOGATONIC YOU VOTE FOR; his/her postlink = <a href="HIS/HER POST LINK">TITLE OF HIS/HER POST</a></b>
In case you did not participate -
I did not participate but I am blogrolled by the name of Vipul Grover.

<b>I did not participate but I am blogrolled by the name of YOUR NAME ON OUR BLOGROLL. </b>
<b>I vote for - NAME OF THE BLOGATONIC YOU VOTE FOR; his/her postlink = <a href="HIS/HER POST LINK">TITLE OF HIS/HER POST</a></b>
Replace the parameters highlighted in red with their actual values.
Remember, in case you participated, your vote will be counted as 1 and in case you didn't, then it will just carry the 1/2 value.
Hence, do not forget to give your post link or blogrolled name (whichever is applicable as clearly visible in the above code) as it will decide whether your vote is counted as 1 or 1/2 in value.
4. Vote for only those entries which are listed here.

- I have started moderating the comments and won’t display the voting comments till the end of this process to keep the result secret till its conclusion.
- After the voting code mentioned above, you may also add the reason, why you voted for a particular post to help others know what you expect as a reader. Moreover, you may also mention the other posts that you liked though you can vote for just one of them.
- In case there are multiple entries from any Blogger, while counting the votes received by him/her, the entries will be considered individually for the award.
The Votes will be discarded without any prior warning in case they are not sufficiently compatible with the rules.

Interpreting this picture was really a tough task, and I found Madhu sir's interpretation the most accurate. The narration was as usual splendid.
Two other posts that I liked are those written by Raksha and Mario.
All the best, everyone.
I participated - WILL POWER
ReplyDeleteI vote for - Pushpee; her postlink = Muscle-less
I enjoyed most of the posts and choosing the best to vote for was a tough choice. Other posts very very close were of Shilpa's, Madhu's and Talking Skull.
Good luck to all!

ReplyDeleteIt’s a sweet story and so very real…everybody is so obsessed by looks that it is easier to write…then to speak. .or is it????

ReplyDeleteI vote for - PUSHPEE ; her postlink = Muscle-less
My Short-list was
- Karthik
- Pushpee
I must have been in both their blogs at least once a day, every day in the last 4 days. Karthik had a very lovey story that was done well. He sure can tell a story and take you along ; the not so typical ending kept it fresh and he used the picture to support the story so well.
Pushpee's poem had me floored the first time I read ; but it did not have as much of the picture in it.
So for a few days I read both over and over again and it was a close call. Finally, the words from Pushpee's poem kept lingering on to the extent that I had memorized it. So, I vote for Pushpee

ReplyDeleteI did not participate but I am blogrolled by the name of PREETI.
ReplyDeleteThere were a couple of posts which I felt, interpreted the picture beautifully! Of those Madhu, Sid and Megha's were quite interesting
and nice..
I vote for - KARTHIK; his postlink = MY COLOURFUL WORLD
My vote goes to Karthik because he interpreted the picture not once, but throughout his post. I thought that was something tough to do, considering the picture was quite dicey! :)
I participated - http://xperiences-in-life.blogspot.com/2010/01/d-day.html
ReplyDeleteI vote for - Harsha; his/her postlink = Story of a Life
I vote for Karthik's post - My Colourful World (Blog-a-Ton 6). Sorry about the earlier fiasco with my voting.... Please dont discard it because its not in the format... I am in office and hurriedly typed this comment after Marshall told me that I have to revote..

ReplyDeleteI vote for - Shilpa; his/her postlink = drabble-musings-of-prisoner-blog-ton-6 POST
I participated - TALKING SKULL - My Open Letters to God
ReplyDeleteI vote for - MADHU RAO; Madhu's postlink = Madhu | INDImag.com - The Dawn Of Reality
The reason I voted for Madhu was: a. A fantastic message in the story; b. The post was tightly linked to the image; c. Fascinating narration
Others that I liked were (in the same order):
2. Karthik: Fantastic story, well narrated and an engaging read.
3. Solitary Writer: Simple & light narration and good humor.
4. Gkam: Can't exactly describe, but there was something magnetic about the post that made me read it thrice...
I did not consider any post that was submitted after midnight for voting (personal choice, and no offences meant)...
Looking at the posts, I guess the difficulty that many bloggers faced this time was the sheer open-endedness of the topic (and its interpretation!!). Possibly, that's what tripped me this time.... :-(
Great going Vipul... This is a fantastic platform for all... Keep going...

I was about to vote for Talking skull for his magnificent post and I remembered that Karthik's post was still in 'should read' list and I hopped over only to change my decision.
Other considerations were:
Harsh: Somehow this dude touches my heart every time he writes a post.
Shilpa Garg: I should confess, it's the first Blog-a-ton post I have read and it is by far the most influential. Her colour theory was the best and also she invented it :) She sshould win this edition I feel.
Debosmita: Brilliant,brilliant and brilliant.
A simple, graphic and moving platonic love story
Raksha: Doubts on Philosophy? Read her post, you'll stop talking.
A special thanks to Karthik, because of whom I have read 13 posts in 2 hours otherwise I wouldn't have read many of the above mentioned posts.
P.S; Best unofficial post?
It's Kickass man :D
Congrats Karthik. I almost voted for you , before switching sides with Madhu... :-P

(well lets face it..i told you i havent read it all .:P )
Thanks Vipul..Volunteer Marshalling was fun..you, Sojo and Guria did a great Job too :) :)(as ever..)
I want to add a word here..Vipul You may disagree but we have seen you in many BATS earlier..I felt you were troubled by something this time..Hurt in particular...On the behalf of all the Blog-a-tonics I apologise to you for doubting your integrity..that certainly was not called for..Our cute chubby Marshal is sad and we wont do anything??
