ReplyDeleteWow! Congratulations to Chicky, myself, and Shilpa :)
ReplyDeleteSo excited having got my first BATOM. Not being modest... but honest - I thought there were others who also deserved it.(mentioned them in my comment).
Special note of thanks to Jahnvi, Chicky, The Fool, Viva, Vikram, Lil High... and others who read and commented. Loving it :)
congrats to them :) ^__^ those who deserved won ^__^
ReplyDeletepretty much what I expected of myself :D ^__^
Congrats, Kshitij, Shilpa and Chicky. Thanks to Sankar, Pramod, Princess and Sulaiman for voting for me. This is my second highest tally here and I am so glad. Thanks also to Kshitij and Chicky for making a special mention of my post.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lil'High for your vote and Kshitij for the kind mention. I dunno what was the matter with the rest of you ? :)
ReplyDeleteI am kidding of course. It was fun to participate and exchange banter with fellow blog-a-tonics as usual.
WOW indeed! My very first participation in BAT, and a Gold BATOM!
ReplyDeleteThank you all so much for reading and voting for my post... especially to The Fool, Sankar, Sunjoo, LiL High, Sulaiman, D2, Enchanta, and Kshitij for the special mention! :D
Congratulations to Shilpa, Kshitij, The Fool and Enchanta! Enjoyed going through everybody's posts.
Congratulations Chicky, Kshitij, TF, Enchanta for the win! And Thank You Chicky, Kshitij, Aativas, Sunjoo, D2 and Enchanta for the encouragement! personally I found this the best B-A-T so far, in terms of 'takes' on the topic and writing style. However, feel voting should be made compulsory and linked directly to the inclusion of the post.
ReplyDeleteI second Shilpa in terms of the voting thing.
ReplyDeleteThere are a few who did not vote. I think that's absolutely not okay. I don't know how we can make it compulsory??
Don't know if my vote on this counts (as this was my first entry in BAT), but if it does, I third Shilpa! :D
ReplyDeleteIt makes sense.
Congrats the winners and all the people who participated.
ReplyDeleteI have a suggestion here. If X writes an entry for BAT and gets votes, but s/he does not vote (for whatever reason) his/her votes should not be counted. That means it would be kind of minus marks - vote, otherwise, you don't have a chance to win even if your post might get the highest votes.
I know this would make the job of moderators little more difficult - but I hope, once this rule comes in all participants would make it a point to vote.
Congratulations to Chicky Kshitij and Shilpa :) :D. You guys deserve it :D. You wrote awesome posts :).
ReplyDeleteSpecial thanks to Maun ji and Vikram ji for cheers :) :D.
I participated in this for the first time, and I really enjoyed it :) :D.
My first attempt in BAT and I really liked the experience. Thanks Kshitij for your vote :)
ReplyDeleteI think we don't need to do anything to make voting compulsorily. Just BAT has to be conducted regularly like when Vipul was here and everything will be taken care of. One time someone does not read and comment on other's post and does not vote, next time on most people will stop reading him/her. Only thing we should guard against is 4-5 people coming in as a group and always voting for each other. With winning entries getting as low as 4 votes at times, this can seriously distort results.
