In case you vote separately, only the first comment will be taken into consideration.
Now coming to the other rules:
- Voting ends at 2200 hrs (IST) on Oct 10, 2010.
- I have started moderating the comments and won’t display the voting comments till the end of this process to keep the result secret till its conclusion.
- After the voting code mentioned above, you may also add the reason, why you voted for a particular post to help others know what you expect as a reader. Moreover, you may also mention the other posts that you liked though you can vote for just one of them.
The Votes will be discarded without any prior warning in case they are not sufficiently compatible with the rules.
So, if there is any query about voting, feel free to drop in a mail (marshal[at]blogaton.in). I'll try to get back to you asap.
P.S. Over the next week, you might find the blog temporarily blocked. It might be done for counting of votes. So just be patient and revisit in few minutes.

This week has sort of been hectic, and I think I could comment for only one or two Blog-a-Tonics this time... Sort of free at office today, so could read all the entries... I'll try to comment for all soon too. Other than the above, the ones vying for a vote were Rumya, Tavish, Amity, Sweta and RV. Many interesting takes on the theme, though most took the image as haunted or dark :)
All the Best to ALL Blog-a-Tonics!

1. Adarsh Sharma; his/her postlink = The Story of Bahadurgarh
The Story was fabulously etched with small details specifically infusing it with a certain degree of realism. Tying the past and present gave the story a lot to explore which for me was very well done.
2. Vee; his/her postlink = 26th August 1967
The story for me was almost personal, I'm a "dear diary" person and perhaps that's what really struck a chord. Besides the realism, for me, it was a very simple narration that held its own up until the very end.
3. Brijender Singh; his/her postlink = HIS/HER POST LINK
Brijender doesn't fail to surprise his reader; be it how the simple oak trees could lend an almost surreal atmosphere to the scene he is beginning to establish or be it the image whose atmosphere/pathos of which were so beautifully etched throughout the whole narration or even the title itself which almost perfectly mirrors the words that follow.
Vipul quoted a line which for me really held true as I read through the post "if love is not madness, then its not love"
Besides the namesake that he utilizes to his advantage his views are clearly communicated through the discussions that follow. The story was gripping as was its protagonist.

Brijender's entry- The Moon For Six Pence- The title by itself was a winner for me, at least.....About the post....Havn’t left much food for thought in the comments and hence putting it all down here. The reason why I loved it over and above the others I read is cos of the perfection that came with the story. Everything about it....as in the vocabulary, the concept, the flow – was absolutely magnificent! Almost felt like I was reading a professional author’s work..... and it left me so impressed that I even read all his other posts....I totally recommend everyone get a bit of it! All in all, a cut above the rest. I really really hope his post wins!!!!
Also, I loved
Sidra’s entry-Zikr-e- Ziarat for a smooth story and the earnestness with which it was written
AND Jayanta Deka’s- Life, one big illusion for the sheer permanence.....something I wudn forget having read, for a while.
They were my second and third favourite picks but I ain't voting for them cos of the equal weightage clause.....i guess it wouldn’t be fair to put all three entries at par.
All the same, awesome writings.....hope to write like most of them some day too! :-)
