Help me in unfolding THE MYTERY by VOTING for your favourite post!!!

Voting gets over at 22:00 hrs (IST) on Dec 12, 2010. Remember, that means time stamp of your comment can be at most 21:59 and not 22:00.

Here is your chance to vote for the last BATOM of the year 2010. Lets start off, like always by welcoming the new Blog-a-Tonics;
Hoping to see all of you actively participating in the coming year.

Click here to check the fellow Blog-a-Tonics who took part in this Blog-a-Ton along with the direct links to their posts.

In this edition, 41 blog-a-tonics participated; 39 of them within the stipulated time.

Please follow the following rules while voting.

1.ONLY THOSE BLOG-A-TONICS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR VOTING (i.e., Contesting for votes and voting for others) WHO HAVE PARTICIPATED IN THIS EVENT WITHIN THE STIPULATED TIME.

2. You can cast upto 3 votes or cheers as we call them, and of course you can not vote for yourself.
In short, you are allowed to vote for one, two or three entries. All your votes will carry the same weightage.

3.  Your Voting Comment should start as follows:

I vote for -
1. XYZ; his/her post = http://ABC/xyz.html
2. DEF; his/her post = http://LMN/def.html
3. PQR; his/her post = http://RST/pqr.html

Code:
I participated - <a href="YOUR POST LINK">YOUR POST LINK</a>
I vote for -
1. NAME OF THE FIRST BLOGATONIC YOU VOTE FOR; his/her postlink = <a href="HIS/HER POST LINK">HIS/HER POST LINK</a>
2. NAME OF THE SECOND BLOGATONIC YOU VOTE FOR; his/her postlink = <a href="HIS/HER POST LINK">HIS/HER POST LINK</a>
3. NAME OF THE THIRD BLOGATONIC YOU VOTE FOR; his/her postlink = <a href="HIS/HER POST LINK">HIS/HER POST LINK</a>

There is some specific logic behind the above code. So please fill the parameters highlighted in red as mentioned in the code only.

Remove the extra code in case you are voting for less than three entries.

3. While voting for a Blog-a-Tonic, use his/her name as provided by him/her in his/her participation entry and not his/her profile name.

4.  Post your vote in the comments section of this post.
5. All your votes should be posted in a single comment. So, take your time - go through all posts - only then decide your one or two or three favourites.
In case you vote separately, only the first comment will be taken into consideration.

Now coming to the other rules:
  • Voting ends at  2200 hrs (IST) on  Dec 12, 2010.
  • I have started moderating the comments and won’t display the voting comments till the end of this process to keep the result secret till its conclusion.
  • After the voting code mentioned above, you may also add the reason, why you voted for a particular post to help others know what you expect as a reader. Moreover, you may also mention the other posts that you liked though you can vote for just one of them.
The Votes will be discarded without any prior warning in case they are not sufficiently compatible with the rules.

So, if there is any query about voting, feel free to drop in a mail (marshal[at]blogaton.in). I'll try to get back to you asap. I am off to a trip, so won't be available till Wednesday.

P.S. Over the next week, you might find the blog temporarily blocked. It might be done for counting of votes. So just be patient and revisit in few minutes.

A Reminder - Have your number of participations reached 10???
Then you are eligible to be included into the List of Veteran Blog-a-Tonics.  Just drop me a mail with the links to all your posts (or simply label all your BAT entries and send me that single link).

Remember, the time stamp of your comment can be at most 21:59 and not 23:00 on Nov 15.

Hoping to see as many voters as participants
Blog-a-Tonically Yours

    Also, I loved -

astrosunilnomy’s entry for being unusual, subtle and classy all in one go....great effort!

    and

Maverick’s entry for being plain cute....and somewhere it pretty much rang true....quite possible I thought.

    ...in that order.

    3. Lost In Thoughts; his postlink = http://mangop.blogspot.com/2010/12/mystery.html

I hold Rumya and leo both equally worthy of my vote for they have shown exceptional talent and creativity at this BAT. It isn't easy to work like a team and yet script stand-alone posts that hold good as a complete story in itself.
There impeccable english, style of narration and approach to the prompt is commendable!

I would like to support and motivate another spark of talent and relatively knew writer Ive been reading since only a month ago and hence I also vote for Manjunath Gopadi..:D

    I vote for -
    1. Kshitij; his postlink = Kshitij - The Mystery
    2. Adarsh Sharma; his postlink = Adarsh sharma - The Mystery

Though midway through the poetic story of Kshitj, we could guess that the person in question is not real, the way he has chosen the words drove me towards this vote.

Adarsh has used new technique to get to the bottom of Mystery. That was interesting.

    I vote for -
    1. Vibhuti B; his/her postlink = http://klishmaklaver.blogspot.com/2010/12/mystery.html

    2. Raksha Raman; his/her postlink = http://raksharaman.blogspot.com/2010/12/mystery.html

    3. Cherry Blossom; his/her postlink = http://life-and-its-color.blogspot.com/2010/12/mystery.html

Vibhuti because of her exceptional skill and mastery over the English language, graphic descriptions, unusual theme and setting for the mystery.

Raksha because of the brilliant flow, concept and narration. Her story was tantalizing until the very end. And besides, the whole idea of VooDoo is mysterious by itself.

Cherry Blossom because her storyline, though simplistic, was worded beautifully. She executed it wonderfully and it thus had the needed effect on the mind of the reader.

  11. I, Leo, participated in Blog-a-Ton 17.
    My mystery is found here:
    POST LINK

I choose to vote for these 3 Blog-A-Tonics:
    1. Vibhuti B
    HER POST LINK
    2. Cherry Blossom
    HER POST LINK
    3. Amity
    HER POST LINK

I read all the posts, but couldn't comment on them. I choose these three writers, because:

Vibz, her execution to keep within the theme of The Mystery, and also within her own story series, The Grimoire.. I felt it was brilliant!

Cherry, because she wrote a fiction involving life's mystery and which flowed well.

Amity, because the mystery she wrote was a light hearted one, that got a smile in the end and a twist I never expected.

Raksha and Pawan's (even though late) were also impressive. All the best to all BATonics :D

    3. Lost in thoughts; his/her postlink = http://mangop.blogspot.com/2010/12/mystery.html

I think I have discovered for myself several exceptional and interesting writers, coming back after my long sabbatical... and of course, BAT is responsible.
Like I voted for three people I have never read before today. And they captured my interest perfectly.
Viyoma for her use of words with more impact than what thousands might not! A beautiful mystery.
Alcina for the perfect mystical poetry. I am a sucker for poetry. And her blog ambiance also was responsible. Added to the mystery.
Lost in thoughts if for nothing but his execution and the thoughts behind his unique mystery.
Rumya and Leo, enjoyed your stories a lott too! :))

    I vote for -
    1. Maverick (Sahil); his/her postlink = http://speculativeloner.blogspot.com/2010/12/mystery.html

    2. Raksha Raman; his/her postlink = http://raksharaman.blogspot.com/2010/12/mystery.html

    3. Vikram Pyati; his/her postlink = http://vikrampyati.blogspot.com/2010/12/mystery.html

    Additional Notes:
One thing I'd like to point out is that Cherry Blossom's post was really amazing and she'd have gotten my vote easily.. but her post, in my eyes, was a little less on 'mystery' and more on other things. That's why she's getting a mention and not a vote :)

    Others that I enjoyed much:
Guria, Megha Arora, Meher, Dimitri Das, and Beyond Horizon
